Privacy
We collect what we need to run the product, nothing else. This page tells you exactly what that is and where it goes.
Who we are
OpenTour is a virtual tour platform operated at opentour.ai. For privacy questions, email email@opentour.ai.
What we collect
- Account data when you sign in: email, name (if provided), and a hashed session token. Stored in our database.
- Tour content you upload: 3D scan files, panoramas, and any property facts you enter. Stored in Vercel Blob.
- Tour analytics: anonymous view events (timestamp, country code from IP geolocation, referrer, user agent). Used to populate per-tour dashboards. We do not run third-party analytics on tour pages.
- Lead submissions when a visitor uses a tour's contact form: email, optional name, phone, message. Synced to your Open Doors CRM and tagged with the tour slug.
- AI conversations when a visitor uses the AI guide: questions and answers are logged to your Open Doors CRM under a per-tour anonymous contact so you can see what people ask.
- Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store the customer reference; we never see card details.
Where data lives
- Application database: Neon Postgres (US/EU regions, encrypted at rest).
- Files (scans, manifests, analytics events): Vercel Blob (encrypted at rest, served over HTTPS).
- AI processing: Anthropic API. Each request is sent over TLS, transcripts are not used to train Anthropic models.
- Email sending: Open Doors (services.leadconnectorhq.com).
- Payments: Stripe.
How long we keep it
Account data while your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion. Tour content for as long as the tour exists in your workspace. Analytics events for 24 months. Lead and AI-conversation records remain in your Open Doors CRM under your control. We do not delete them on your behalf.
Your rights
You can request export or deletion of your personal data by emailing email@opentour.ai. We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR and equivalent regimes.
Cookies
We use a single first-party session cookie when you are signed in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies on the marketing site or on tour pages. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond the essential session cookie.
Changes
We will update this page if anything material changes and notify signed-in customers by email. The "last updated" date at the top is the source of truth.
